Young adults wo earn a Bachelors Degree

The Arts and Achievement in At-Risk Youth: Findings from Four Longitudinal Studies, was published in a report by the US National Endowment for the Arts that socially and economically disadvantaged children and teenagers who have high levels of arts engagement or arts learning show more positive outcomes in a variety of areas than their low-arts-engaged peers.

This report examined the academic and civic behavior outcomes of teenagers and young adults who have engaged deeply with the arts in or out of school have better academic results, higher career goals, and better work opportunities.

Having the arts in young people’s lives is essential. In several small-group studies, children and teenagers who participated in arts education programs have shown that they earn better grades and demonstrate higher rates of college enrollment and attainment.

The Tucker Family Foundation and members are advocates of The Arts who are passionate about providing opportunities for youth with a program that offers artistic exposure and first-hand learning experience.
